Katharina Gnath ist seit Februar 2007 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Forschungsinstitut der DGAP verantwortlich für das Programm »Globalisierung und Weltwirtschaft«. Sie ist auf internationale Wirtschaftsbeziehungen und -institutionen spezialisiert.

Bevor sie zur DGAP kam, arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin beim Londoner Think-Tank »Federal Trust for Education and Research« zu europäischen Wirtschaftsfragen und in der internationalen Abteilung der Europäischen Zentralbank in Frankfurt.

Sie studierte Philosophie, Politik und Volkswirtschaft an der Universität Oxford (BA Hons) sowie Europäische Politik und Governance and der London School of Economics (MSc), wo sie zu Wirtschafts- und Währungspolitik forschte.
